Columbia Sportswear distinguishes itself by designing clothing which performs in a variety of activities and weather conditions. To accomplish this Columbia carefully selects the appropriate fabric for each garment. Fabrics are chosen based on wicking ability, waterproofness, breathability, weight, and durability. Omni-DryTM is Columbia's high performance moisture management technology. Omni-DryTM fabrics keep the body comfortable by drawing moisture from the body to the fabric surface where it can quickly evaporate. Omni-TechTM is Columbia's premier waterproof/breathable technology. Three different levels of Omni-TechTM are offered to meet different levels of waterproofness and breathability. All Omni-TechTM garments are seam-sealed and guaranteed for the life of the garment

Ultra-Wick Mesh
Quick drying polyester. Warm knit mesh holds its shape. Brushed for softness, warmth. Mesh construction provides breathability. |
MTR Fleece
Maximum Thermal Retention"' fleece is a strong performer for Columbia season after season. A quick-drying, non-pilling polyester stretch fleece. |
Zap Fleece
Lightweight, one-side looped polyester tricot. Very durable and non-pilling. Transports moisture away from the body. |
Storm Dry FD Technicloth
Full dull (FD) nylon yarns in a tight cord-like weave. Durable and abrasion resistant. |
Bergundtal Light II

FahrenHot
A basic, high-loft polyester insulation. |

TitaniumTM

3-Layer Lazer Rip XP
Highly breathable, lightweight nylon. Tricot layer for extra durability. Distinctive flat ripstop provides extra tear strength. False twist yarn enhances breathability and water resistance. |

Columbia Sportswear has engineered this product to be waterproof using a combination of waterproof materials and constructions. Where leathers are used, they are only top quality hides, specially tanned to remain supple, durable and waterproof.
