Minn Kota MKA-50 Bow Mount Stabilizer Kit for all Fortrex, RT/SF, Riptide Fortrex and  Ultrex Models

Reduces bounce on Fortrex, Riptide SF, Riptide Fortrex and Ultrex bow-mount trolling motor models. Attaches to the lower side of the spring guard bracket. When the motor is stowed, the stabilizer is positioned vertically between the spring guard bracket and the deck of the boat. Rubber bumper also protects the deck finish.

  • Attaches to the left or right side of bowguard
  • Pivots into vertical position and rests on the boat deck when motor is stowed
  • Rotates in the horizontal position with bowguard when the motor is deployed
  • Includes rubber bumper to protect deck finish
  • Stainless steel hardware tested for saltwater use

Fits the following trolling motor models:

  • Minn Kota Fortrex models from 2008 - Present
  • Minn Kota Riptide Saltwater Fortrex and RT/SF models from 2009 - Present
  • Minn Kota Ultrex BT models from 2017 - Present

meaure twice (or three times) cut once....

I actually read and then followed the directions. maybe some mounts have more slack or wear - but to be safe I would recommend you cut the rod 1" above the bracket instead of 3/4". this will give you more threads to adjust with, mine worked out but just barely.

IF you cut too short - I doubt if you can buy the threaded rod separately,
